The concept has already been shown; all that remains is to see the production model, which will closely resemble it, and to find out the precise details.

Initially announced for September 2022, then previewed in concept form in March 2023, the Jeep Recon will become the brand's second all-electric SUV on the North American market, joining the Wagoneer S. It will employ the same STLA Large architecture from Stellantis. Its official unveiling is likely to take place in the early weeks of 2025, barring further delays.

Meanwhile, at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show, Jeep CEO Antonio Filosa declared that a new hybrid SUV will arrive in 2025. It won't be a plug-in model like the Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe, but a regular hybrid. A gasoline variant will be offered in parallel. All indications are that this vehicle will revive the Cherokee name, abandoned in March 2023 when the Belvidere, Illinois plant ceased production of Jeep's compact SUV.
