Here's how much it costs to fill up these 10 popular vehicles
The surge in oil prices since the conflict in Iran is hitting motorists’ wallets hard. At least those who aren’t lucky enough to drive an electric vehicle. It’s hard to say how things will unfold, as political decisions such as the fragile ceasefire recently declared are adding to the volatility of oil prices.
There are, of course, plenty of tips for saving money at the pump. We’ve also compiled a list of the most fuel-efficient vehicles on the market in 2026. Today, we’d like to highlight the cost of filling up 10 popular vehicles in Quebec under current conditions.
Needless to say, this is a theoretical figure, since no one waits until their tank is completely empty to fill up. Since prices vary considerably from one region to another, not to mention from one day to the next, we used as a reference an average of $1.95 per liter for regular gas, $2.15 per liter for premium gas, and $2.55 per liter for diesel, based on a compilation of prices from the Essence Quebec website.
