Top 10: The Vehicles Most Likely to Reach 400,000 km
Given the cost of new cars these days, many people are opting for leasing and its lower monthly payments. However, many others are turning to used cars or choosing to prioritize maintenance and keep their current vehicle for longer.
With this in mind, reliability and durability become paramount. Which one stands out the most?
According to a study by the American firm iSeeCars, based on millions of vehicles, Toyota ranks first among brands in terms of longevity, followed by its luxury division, Lexus. On average, Toyota vehicles have a 17.8% chance of reaching at least 400,000 km (250,000 miles). Toyota’s ability to produce rugged SUVs and trucks, such as the 4Runner, Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra, contributes to this success. Even Toyota sedans and hybrids, such as the Avalon and Prius, consistently rank among the most durable models in the annual iSeeCars study.

Toyota, Lexus, Honda, and Acura produce cars that are more likely than average to reach 400,000 km.”
It’s also worth noting that three brands have a 0% chance of reaching 400,000 km: Jaguar, MINI, and Maserati.
