The GMC Acadia 2026 will offer an unprecedented level of luxury
The height of luxury at GMC is no longer limited to Denali versions. For a number of years now, there has been an upper echelon called Denali Ultimate, notably in the Sierra and Yukon ranges. For 2026, it's the Acadia's turn to offer it.
According to the brand's global vice-president, Jaclyn McQuaid, it's a way of further differentiating GMC's offering in the highly competitive three-row mid-size SUV segment.
The GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate 2026 starts out with a blackened chrome grille and GMC logo, LED daytime running lights with a special ignition sequence, and 22-inch wheels in a dark metallic finish, not forgetting of course a few of its own badges.
Inside, the Denali Ultimate treatment includes mahogany-brown leather seats with contrasting hexagonal stitching. The first-row seats are heated and ventilated, feature a topographical map embossed on the backrest (as do the doors) and offer a massage function.
There's also laser-engraved Paldao wood trim, exclusive floor mats, a digital rearview mirror and a panoramic roof.
Technology-wise, nine high-definition camera angles can be viewed on screen, the Bose Performance Series audio system boasts 16 speakers, and Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance is offered free of charge for three years. Let's not forget to mention the configurable head-up display in front of the driver.
GMC makes no changes to the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which generates 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque, and can tow up to 5,000 lbs. Six driving modes are available, and a sport suspension is part of the menu.
The GMC Acadia 2026 arrives in dealerships this summer, except that the new Denali Ultimate version will show up later this year. Prices have yet to be confirmed, but the 2025 model ranges from $56,625 to $69,825 including fees.
