The Ford Mustang Mach-E finally gets what it needed for 2025
Since its launch, the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV has received various improvements each year, and this continues with the 2025 model, due to arrive in the first half of 2025. The automaker is far from finished with sales of the 2024 model, for which a $5,000 purchase rebate is currently available, regardless of version.
At the request of several customers, a heat pump has finally been added as standard equipment on the Mustang Mach-E. This will mean more efficient heating and, above all, better battery management for increased range in cold weather, although Ford is not giving precise figures at the moment.
The interior features red stitching and sport pedals for a more attractive look, as well as ventilated front seats in the Premium version for greater comfort on hot days. The gear selector is now located on the steering column, freeing up space on the console.
In addition, the BlueCruise semi-automated driving system is upgraded to its latest version (1.5). The Mustang Mach-E is the first Ford model to use it. The vehicle can change lanes automatically if the driver in front is slower, or if another is following too closely in the overtaking lane. What's more, the system operates more smoothly than before, allowing you to spend more time with your hands off the wheel.
Note that after the 90-day free trial, a subscription will be required to continue enjoying BlueCruise, either by paying a one-off fee at the time of vehicle purchase or by opting for an annual fee.
What else for 2025? Ford is offering a new connectivity package (including apps like Alexa, YouTube and karaoke) and a new sports appearance package that gives the Premium version a Mach-E GT look (including 19-inch gloss black wheels with Brembo brakes in red).
Three new body colors are also available - Molten Magenta Metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic and Desert Sand - as well as three new wheel styles.
Canadian pricing for the Ford Mustang Mach-E 2025 will be announced at a later date.
