This prototype evokes the vision of the performance of Subaru's future electrified products, focusing on driving pleasure and handling. Visually, the lines combine modern proportions while drawing inspiration from the brand's heritage. The vehicle is sleek, but features triangular angles at the front and an aggressive nose. The roof slopes down and features a large spoiler—a characteristic of STI models, as are the gold wheels. The rear features a huge diffuser, clearly inspired by the brand's rally heritage.

The cockpit favors the driver, offering an ideal driving position without compromising comfort. In terms of performance, the sedan features all-wheel drive, which—together with its electric powertrain—gives it instant responsiveness

Performance-B STI Concept

We missed the third generation of the Impreza WRX STI with its hatchback and breathtaking performance. Now Subaru is reigniting the flame with this turbocharged combustion engine concept, because yes, it features the famous Boxer engine and... a manual transmission!

Based on the current Impreza, its lightweight, compact body features widened fenders and lowered ground clearance. It also has aggressive front and rear diffusers and a black side skirt. Not to mention the huge spoiler that overlooks the tailgate. The front features a redesigned grille surrounded by a red strip. A huge air intake is located on the hood, and the roof is painted black, accentuating the contrast with the blue color.

One thing is certain: these two concepts are sure to get enthusiasts dreaming.

A little adventure

Subaru is also showing off its adventurous side with three new models hitting the Canadian market. First up is the Outback Wilderness, which starts at $49,195 and offers great versatility, albeit at the expense of a polarizing design. It comes standard with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and can tow up to 1,588 kg (3,500 lb). The entry-level Touring model starts at $40,895.

The 2026 Forester Wilderness offers an adventurous package and gains in capability and convenience. The 2026 Convenience version sells for $36,863. The new 100% electric Trailseeker, which we saw for the first time at the New York Auto Show, will be launched in Canada in early 2026.
