Porsche Experience Centre Toronto auctions off its special 911 GT3 RS
The Porsche Experience Centre in Toronto, which we visited recently, opens its doors to the public on June 18. To celebrate the opening, the German brand is auctioning a 911 GT3 RS with Weissach package and special livery through RM Sotheby's.
Initially unveiled last year at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, this 911 is the result of a collaboration between Porsche Canada and the Porsche Sonderwunsch team in Germany. The idea is to demonstrate the infinite customization possibilities available to the consumer.
As a result, the sports car sports a Canadian livery in red and white, evoking the Canadian flag. The interior is embellished with “pepita” fabric upholstery created expressly for the project. A scale model (1:18) is also being auctioned, and a chronograph watch has been designed in honor of the 911 GT3 RS.

The 911 GT3 RS with Weissach package is distinguished by its multiple carbon-fiber components and trim - both inside and out. At the rear, the 4.0-liter, 6-cylinder flat-six engine revs up to 9,000 rpm, producing 502 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to its excellent 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Ontario charity Campfire Circle, which helps children with life-threatening illnesses. Potential buyers can register here, and the auction closes July 1 at 3 p.m.
