Jeep Compass 2025: big price cut for the smallest Jeep
The Stellantis automaker has pledged to take swift action to improve its North American operations, including reducing production of certain models and cutting prices. The Jeep Compass is a good example of the latter.
Although it's the only vehicle in the brand's line-up to record sales growth for the first half of 2024 (and by 40% to boot), this compact SUV has been much more expensive than its rivals until recently. But with the Compass 2025 now on sale, buyers are in for a pleasant surprise.
The base Sport version starts at $34,995 including fees, a colossal $6,020 reduction and a frankly more reasonable bill. The North comes in at $41,995, down $1,920, while the Altitude retails for $46,995 after deducting $420.
Equipment remains unchanged, but two body colors have disappeared from the palette. A new “Joose” will be added at a later date.
Further up the range, the off-road-ready Compass Trailhawk sees its price increase by $980 to $48,995. The Trailhawk Elite package is discontinued for 2025. Finally, the luxurious Limited version also requires a minimum outlay of $48,995, a meagre $80 jump from 2024. That's pretty expensive, thanks to a compact SUV that's smaller than average and not available with an electrified powertrain.
Since the Compass 2025 has only just arrived on the market, no manufacturer's rebate is being offered at the moment. But be patient, it won't be long...
As a reminder, Stellantis has confirmed that the next-generation Jeep Compass will be produced in Brampton, Ontario, using Stellantis' STLA Medium platform. This will be a first for Jeep in Canada. As the automaker prepares to install a brand-new flexible assembly line capable of producing both combustion and electric vehicles, the future Compass is expected to be electrified. The first vehicles are expected to leave the factory in 2026.
