How much does... the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 2024 cost?
The second-generation Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has been on the market for over a year, and is enjoying great success in Canada. Not only is it highly sought-after by the public, it can also be delivered quickly.
60 km range
Under the hood, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is paired with two electric motors. This configuration provides all-wheel drive and a combined output of 248 hp.
"We have 332 lb-ft of torque. That's interesting, because it's a serious advantage in terms of performance [and] handling. You never get the impression that the vehicle is forcing you," says the expert.
"This 20 kWh battery provides a range of 61 km in all-electric mode. You'll be able to do better in the summer," notes Antoine. He points out, however, that the internal combustion engine is often switched on in winter to keep the battery warm.
A bit of Nissan...
"The Outlander PHEV shares many of its elements with the Nissan Rogue [such as] the platform and several interior components," says Antoine.
For the expert, this is not a drawback. On the contrary, the interior is ergonomic and practical. Otherwise, the third row of seats is mainly intended for young children.
