Here's how much the new Hyundai Kona Electric 2024 costs
As expected, the electric variant of the all-new Hyundai Kona 2024 will arrive in dealerships this winter. Two versions are on the menu, and their prices are now known.
The Kona Electric Preferred 2024 starts at $46,399, while the Ultimate model starts at $51,199. This represents a marked but reasonable increase of $1,800 and $1,500 respectively over the outgoing generation. In both cases, you have to add the $1,925 shipping and preparation costs, then deduct the $12,000 federal and provincial subsidies after taxes.
Technically speaking, the vehicle uses a 64.8 kWh battery, giving it a range of 420 km according to Natural Resources Canada calculations (previously 415 km). The electric motor still generates 201 hp, but its torque has been significantly reduced, from 291 to 188 lb-ft, which suggests that acceleration and acceleration will be much less energetic. In Ultimate trim, you can also expect a Bose audio system, head-up display, wireless phone charger and digital key technology.
