Ford is launching another colorful, limited-edition Bronco
Pink lovers, today’s your lucky day. Or maybe not. Through its Custom Garage customization division, Ford has just launched a new “Desert Rising” styling package for its Bronco, whose pink-hued patterns and colors are inspired, as the name suggests, by a sunrise over the Utah desert and the Great Salt Lake.
The catch is that only about a thousand copies will be available, and only in the United States.
Offered for an additional $13,695 USD, the package is available with the Outer Banks trim in four exterior colors: Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray, and Ruby Red. It comes with the Sasquatch package, which includes lockable front and rear differentials, high-performance Fox shocks with internal bypass reservoirs, 35-inch off-road tires, and more.
Lead designer Bhavna Mistry explains that the graphic elements on the sides of the Bronco are optional, so customers can decide to what extent they want to add color and style to the vehicle. At the front, the grille features a combination of pink, while the Method wheels beneath the black fender flares have a white finish. The same goes for the mirror housings.
The interior features two-tone Katzkin leather seats combining magenta and black, along with a touch of color on the grab handles. A numbered plaque on the console confirms its limited-edition status.
The Ford Bronco Desert Rising is the first model in the “Horizon” series, and there will be more to come, since half of customers are looking for such customization options, according to Mistry. It remains to be seen whether the company will decide to include Canada in the future.
Otherwise, new special editions of the Bronco are still on the horizon, such as the RTR and Filson models for the 2027 model year. However, if pink is your favorite color, you’ll have to opt for a Jeep Wrangler painted in Tuscadero.
