Ford Bronco 2025 gets better equipment and brings back its base version
The Free Wheeling package and Stroppe special edition aren't the only changes on the Ford Bronco menu for the 2025 model year. Good news: what was announced this week in the U.S. also applies here, confirms a Ford of Canada spokeswoman.
Those wishing to give their Bronco a different look can opt for a new black appearance package, which darkens the roof, mirror housings, fenders, door handles and grille, the latter adopting “BRONCO” lettering in white. Black graphics complete the look.
For Bronco models equipped with the Sasquatch kit, the black appearance kit also adds gloss black wheels with black bead locks.
Another interesting option is a clear film that protects the bodywork and gives it a matte effect at the same time, regardless of the vehicle's color. Factory-installed, it is available for all two- and four-door models except the Bronco Raptor, says Ford.
A more pleasant interior
All Ford Bronco 2025 models benefit from enhanced standard equipment, starting with a new 12-inch digital instrument panel that replaces the 8-inch instrument panel with an analog speedometer. This was already the case in the Raptor model, by the way. Data is displayed more attractively, and animations accompany each driving mode.
Ford has also added rear-seat air conditioning vents (four-door models), lighting and soundproofing for a more pleasant on-board experience. The B&O audio system now has 12 speakers instead of 10, including a new subwoofer, and Bronco models with Sasquatch packages get new 35-inch Goodyear Territory tires that Ford says are quieter on the highway than before.
Last but not least, the basic version of the Bronco, eliminated for 2024, returns to the range to offer buyers a more affordable alternative. What's more, the Black Diamond version becomes an optional package on the Bronco Big Bend.
Ford has begun accepting orders for the Bronco 2025 in the United States, where deliveries will begin this winter. Canadian consumers will have to be a little more patient. Ditto for pricing.
