A $4,000 price cut for most Ram 1500 2025 models
The updated Ram 1500 2025 has been on the market for several months, but Canadian sales are down sharply. After the first nine months of the year, Ram's pickup is down 29% on the same period in 2023.
A good reason? Price. To remedy the situation, Ram is announcing a $4,000 price reduction on all Ram 1500 2025 models except the high-performance RHO, following in the footsteps of recent U.S. announcements.
The range will start at $58,740 (including transport and preparation costs) for a Tradesman model and $62,240 for a Big Horn model, both with a crew cab. The former can now be ordered with a crew cab from $60,240.
The popular Sport model, exclusive to the Canadian market, drops to $74,240. The adventurous Rebel follows at $76,240. Even the most luxurious Ram 1500s get a price cut. This includes the new Tungsten model at the top of the range, now priced at $106,240. In its case, the reduction will also lower the federal luxury tax that applies, although this was probably not a deal-breaker for buyers.
The Ram 1500 2025 offers two engines: the venerable 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque) and the new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane six-cylinder, replacing the 5.7-liter HEMI V8. The latter is available in two power levels: 420 hp and 469 lb-ft, or 540 hp and 521 lb-ft. Maximum towing capacity is 11,580 lb and maximum payload 2,300 lb.
As for the Ram 1500 REV 2025 (all-electric) and Ram 1500 Ramcharger REx 2025 (electric with range-extending motor), Canadian prices have not yet been announced.
