2026 Subaru Forester

A spacious and practical compact SUV, the Forester is available with a gasoline or hybrid powertrain. In both cases, we’re talking about a 2.5-litre four-cylinder boxer engine. Output is rated at 180 horsepower, except for the Forester Hybrid which delivers a combined 194 horsepower. Subaru changed its plans and the more adventurous, U.S.-made Wilderness model will not be sold in Canada. It features increased ground clearance, all-terrain tires and the best towing capacity in the lineup (3,500 lbs).
