2026 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

The Outlander is Mitsubishi’s largest SUV, and bigger than most other compact SUVs. For 2026, gasoline models include a new NOIR edition and, more importantly, the naturally aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine is replaced with a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine featuring mild hybrid technology. Meanwhile, the Outlander PHEV retains the same motors and engine, but combined output is increased to 297 horsepower. A larger battery also allows increased electric range.
